Speeding Citation

I received a citation for doing 65 m.p.h., going south on the 405 Freeway. I was in the fast lane, and did not notice the CHP cruiser doing 55 m.p.h. in the slow lane, screened by other vehicles. This point was pointed out by the CHP officer.

I travel the freeways a great deal, and very seldom do I see a CHP cruiser or motorcycle officer or other police vehicle going 55 m.p.h. Unless it is an emergency, with their lights on, they should be required to follow the same rules.

When I drive in the diamond lane going 65 m.p.h., cars are riding my tail to force me to go faster. When I don’t go faster, they pass me on the right, then re-enter the diamond lane,

Either enforce the law, which is practically impossible to do, or take it off the books, and don’t us it as a fund-raiser.
