SAN PEDRO : 2 Forums Planned in School Board Race
Four candidates seeking election to the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education will hold public forums Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sid Brickman, Kathleen Dixon, George Kiriyama, and Laura Richardson are running for the seat in District 7, which covers the harbor area, Lomita and Carson.
The San Pedro Coordinating Council will sponsor the Tuesday forum at Peck Park auditorium, 560 N. Western Ave., San Pedro, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday’s forum will be at the San Pedro High School auditorium, 1001 W. 15th St., at 7:30 p.m.
The school board election is April 11.
