ARCADIA: Two Arcadia men were arrested Sunday night after a fight at Santa Anita racetrack. Carlos Aguilar, 34, and Peter Gordon, 41, were arrested about 11 p.m. after allegedly cutting each other with knives during a fight over money, police said. Aguilar was treated at Methodist Hospital and released. Gordon did not seek medical attention. Both men were booked at Arcadia City Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Each was held in lieu of $20,000 bail.

COVINA: Three teen-agers were the victims of a carjacking Thursday night. The victims, who were not identified, were forced to drive to Glendora by a man who threatened them with a revolver in the parking lot of a liquor store, police said. At about 6:20 p.m., a man using the telephone outside the store at Grand Avenue and Arrow Highway approached two of the victims while they were sitting in a truck waiting for their friend to come out of the store, police said. After a drive through Glendora, the gunman told the teen-agers to get out of the truck and drove off. The stolen truck is a 1987 blue Mazda pickup truck with tinted windows. The license plate number is 3J88950.

DIAMOND BAR: Four adults and four children were tied up Saturday when three men robbed their home. The victims, whose names were not released, were at a home in the 1200 block of Greycrest Place about 9:30 p.m. when the doorbell rang. A 4-year-old boy opened the door and two men armed with pistols and knives forced their way inside, sheriff’s deputies said. The men bound the residents with tape and opened a back door to let a third suspect inside, deputies said. The robbers escaped with about $4,000 in cash and an unknown amount of jewelry. POMONA: A 22-year-old El Monte woman was arrested Saturday afternoon on suspicion of child endangerment after taking her 14-month-old daughter to the emergency room for an overdose of amphetamine. Marleen Castaneda was arrested about 4:20 p.m. at Pomona Valley Community Hospital, police said. Castaneda told police that the child drank some milk at a friend’s house but was uncooperative and refused to tell officials where the friend lives. Castaneda’s daughter was listed in critical but stable condition. Castaneda was booked at Pomona City Jail. She is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

POMONA: A 35-year-old Fontana woman was arrested Friday after police found an alleged bookmaking operation at a storefront under investigation for drug sales. Cheryl Latrice Lloyd was arrested at about 5 p.m. at “Garey Beauty Supply” in the 1300 block of Garey Avenue. Police served a search warrant at the shop after undercover officers bought drugs there. When officers served the warrant, they found numerous sheets listing odds and information about horse races. The store did not have any beauty supplies, police said. Lloyd was arrested on suspicion of bookmaking and was being held at the Pomona City Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
