HUNTINGTON PARK : Spring Street Fair to Conclude Today
Carnaval Primavera, a weekend street fair celebrating the coming of spring with international foods, entertainment and carnival rides, ends today.
Clowns, mimes and magicians will provide entertainment for younger fair-goers, and two stages will feature bands and dance groups, organizers said. Radio station KKHJ-AM “Radio Alegria” will broadcast live from the main stage. KWHY-TV Channel 22 game-show personalities Gianella Segura and Rodrigo Obregon of “Facilisimo” will emcee today’s events.
The four-block festival runs along Pacific Boulevard between Gage and Slauson avenues.
Clarendon and Belgrave avenues and Randolph Street will be closed during the event. Festival hours today are 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Admission is free.
