Discounts With Swing in Scotland

With a choice of only two departure dates remaining in 1995, golfers over age 50 are eligible for discounts on tour packages for play on six championship golf courses in Scotland. The golf tour is offered by Fairway Tours of Edinburgh (Scot World Golf), a Scottish golf tour operator.

The package includes:

* Round-trip air fare from Los Angeles via British Airways.

* Seven nights’ accommodations with full Scottish breakfasts.

* Four dinners including a farewell banquet.

* Six rounds of golf.

* Motor-coach transportation, service charges and taxes.

* A golf professional to escort the groups.

Golfing includes 18-hole rounds at the following Scottish courses: Royal Troon, Old Prestwick, Dalmahoy East, St. Andrews and Gleneagles. The cost is $3,280 per golfer in a twin-bedded room (senior discount is $328 off of that). A non-golfing partner is $2,730 (senior discount $273). Sightseeing programs are arranged for non-golfers. Each tour is limited to 24 people, 12 of whom must be golfers.
