PLACENTIA : Woman, 54, Dies in Head-On Crash
A 54-year-old Chino Hills woman died Friday afternoon after she lost control of her car and struck another vehicle head-on, according to police.
Harriett Everts was driving west on Imperial Highway near Rose Drive around 12:17 p.m. when her car swerved into the center divider and slammed into an eastbound car that then hit a third car, according to Sgt. Ken Gardner of the Placentia Police Department.
Police are still investigating the accident, but Gardner said the victim had a “medical condition that may have contributed” to the accident.
