Public Hearings to Cover Redevelopment Proposals

The Community Redevelopment Agency will hold public hearings April 26 to consider changes to redevelopment projects for Downtown, Chinatown and Little Tokyo.
The five-year plans focus on proposed spending and eliminating blight. The projects include those scheduled for the areas around Los Angeles Public Library, the Los Angeles Convention Center and street improvements near Downtown.
Other project areas to be discussed are Adams-Normandie, Hollywood, Los Angeles Harbor, Monterey Hills, North Hollywood and two projects in the Pico-Union neighborhood.
Hearings begin at 9 a.m. in the boardroom of the Community Redevelopment Agency, 354 S. Spring St., Los Angeles.
