Three arts groups and one writer in Orange County have been awarded a total of $89,500 by the National Endowment for the Arts. The Pacific Symphony won $60,000 to support youth concerts and American music programs. The Pacific Chorale and the Master Chorale of Orange County won $5,000 and $4,500 respectively for artists’ salaries. Louise Rafkin of San Clemente won a $20,000 creative writer’s fellowship. Nationwide, the NEA awarded a total of $59.1 million to 1,247 organizations and individuals.
