VENTURA : 2 Suspects Sought in Carjacking, Beating
Two men are still being sought in the carjacking of a 1983 Buick Skylark from a Ventura resident, police said Tuesday.
The 37-year-old victim, who was not identified by police, met the suspects on West Ramona Street in Ventura at 2 p.m. Sunday and agreed to give them a ride to a party in Frazier Park. Once there, the suspects beat the victim and fled with his car and $40 in cash. The victim received minor injuries.
The suspects are described as being in their 30s. One man is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with black hair and a beard, police said.
