Friendly Hills HealthCare Announces Services-Affiliation Pact

Friendly Hills HealthCare Network, a health care delivery-systems company, said Thursday that Caremark International in Northbrook, Ill., has acquired substantially all of the assets of the company and has assumed management of its business operations.

Under an affiliation agreement, Caremark will provide Friendly Hills with administration of patient services, facilities management, information and finances and other business functions. Friendly Hills operates 18 medical offices and a 274-bed acute-care hospital.

The current senior executives of Friendly Hills will continue with the organization.
