OXNARD : 2 Victims Identified After Fatal Accidents
Two motorists killed in unrelated auto accidents Friday evening were identified Saturday.
Stuart James Ireland, 36, of Santa Barbara died after crashing into a tree in the center divider of northbound Pacific Coast Highway near Oxnard about 6 p.m., California Highway Patrol officials said.
In an accident an hour later near Piru, Regina Marie Sosa, 21, of Oxnard died after her truck swerved into the westbound lane of California 126, smashing into another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle, Brandon Edwards, 24, of Santa Barbara, was hospitalized and listed in stable condition Saturday, officials said.
