Most residents were allowed to return late Saturday after more than 150 homes were evacuated as a campfire raced out of control near this central Oregon town.

The fire blackened more than 75 acres of pine on state and private land. The source was traced to a campfire built by four teen-agers behind a mobile home, said Sheriff’s Lt. Greg Brown.
