VAN NUYS : Volunteers Urged to Join Cleanup

Community members are being urged to participate in a neighborhood cleanup project Saturday at Delano Park in Van Nuys.
The 12th annual cleanup event is sponsored by the Mid-Valley Chamber of Commerce. Residents and merchants will combine forces to rid the area of weeds, trash and graffiti.
Work begins at 7 a.m. at Delano Park, located at Erwin Street and Noble Avenue. Participants will receive a free breakfast, lunch and a T-shirt.
