BRIEFLY : Volunteers: 2,500 to Renovate Schools

About 2,500 volunteers will help renovate Los Angeles public schools Saturday at the L.A. Works’ third annual citywide work-a-thon.
Volunteers will begin their cleanup work at 8 a.m. to landscape, paint and spruce up schools in the city.
