FULLERTON : Senior Center Will Offer Tax Seminar
Renters and homeowners who are senior citizens may be eligible for a tax refund.
To explain who qualifies, the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center is offering a free seminar June 15, July 20 and Aug. 17. Volunteer tax counselors will be at the center from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on the three dates to help people determine if they are eligible for the rebate.
City officials said that candidates must be 62 or older by Dec. 31 or blind or disabled and have annual income of $13,200 or less. In addition, they must own their homes or pay at least $50 a month in rent.
