Strong ‘Pulse’

Share

Pink Floyd’s live album “Pulse” had a strong second week, landing at No. 3 on both The Times’ Southern California and the national pop album charts. Indications are that it may stay in the Top Five in both charts for at least another two weeks--a strong showing for a live album. On the national pop chart, Michael Jackson’s heavily hyped “Scream” continues to trail rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s less-heralded “One More Chance,” which is the top single, while “Scream” is No. 3. Paula Adbul’s first album in four years, “Head Over Heels,” is off too a good start, entering at No. 14 on the Southern California pop chart and No. 18 nationally. But, will the album, which has received some bad reviews, have legs?
