Man’s Body Found at Construction Site

ANAHEIM — A passerby discovered the body of an apparent homicide victim early Sunday in the 8600 block of Running Springs Road, a construction site near Weir Canyon Road.
Identified only as an adult white male of unspecified age, the victim was found wrapped in a blanket about 10 a.m., according to police.
“It didn’t appear to be a natural death or suicide,” Police Lt. Tom O’Donnell said. “Apparently it hadn’t been too long; the body didn’t appear to be decomposed.”
O’Donnell said there were no witnesses, and the motive and cause of death remained unknown.
