COPENHAGEN : Santas in August
Europe may be going through a heat wave, but the Danes are already thinking about Christmas! Santa Clauses from 155 countries will gather outside Copenhagen on Monday for their 34th annual summer congress.
Festivities will include a parade through the center of the town of Bakken in aged fire engines, and parachuting Santas. The meal will be the traditional Danish Christmas dinner of pork, red cabbage and rice pudding.
