FULLERTON — Police were searching for two men who robbed a pizza restaurant Thursday morning, injuring one employee.
The robbery may be linked to a similar robbery Wednesday morning at Sav-On Drugs in the 2400 block of East Chapman Avenue, police said.
In the first incident, two gun-toting men robbed Sav-On about 10:20 a.m. of an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a black sports car, police said.
About the same time the next day, two men walked into Shakey’s Pizza Restaurant in the 200 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue before opening hours and struck one of two employees, Police Lt. Mike Stedman said. The employee, who was not identified, suffered a bloody nose.
