A memorial service will be held Sunday for Henny Yitzhak, the Woodland Hills teen-ager who was killed this week at a rock concert in Arad, Israel.

Henny, vacationing in her birthplace, was trampled to death Tuesday during a stampede at a concert that was part of “Israeli Woodstock,” a weeklong event featuring some of Israel’s top performers. She was 16.

During the service, a tree will be planted in Henny’s honor.

“It’s really a celebration of her life,” said Peter Eichberg, father of Henny’s boyfriend, Adam.

Because Henny’s funeral was held in Israel, the Eichberg family decided to hold a service here to allow friends a chance to properly grieve and pay their respects.

“These kids need closure. They show up with flowers and don’t know what to do with them. We have to do something so they’ll realize that she’s not coming back,” Eichberg said.

Henny is survived by her mother, Sarina; her father, Marcel; a brother, Yosef (Joe); a sister, Battel, and her grandmother Laura.

The service, scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, will be held at Mulholland Heights Community Park, situated at Cairnloch Street and Via del Prado in Calabasas.
