A pre-”Batman” Adam West guests on Bewitched (Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Nickelodeon) in an episode in which Samantha tries to play matchmaker.
TNT’s Monstervision presents two episodes of the original The Outer Limits (Saturday at 5 p.m.): “ZZZZZ” with Phillip Abbott, Joanna Frank and Marsha Hunt, and “Tourist Attraction,” starring Ralph Meeker, Henry Silva and Janet Blair.
MCA/Universal Home Video recently released four new titles ($15 each) in its Bing Crosby Collection. Crosby sets out to form his own jazz band in the 1941 musical-comedy Birth of the Blues; Mary Martin also stars. Crosby introduces the 1937 Oscar-winning tune, “Sweet Leilani” in the comedy Waikiki Wedding. Shirley Ross and Bob Burns are featured. In 1936’s Rhythm on the Range, Crosby plays a cowboy who discovers a runaway heiress (Frances Farmer). And in 1947’s Welcome Stranger, Crosby reunites with “Going My Way” co-star Barry Fitzgerald.
