Canoga Park : 2 Youths Shot Near Apartment
Two teen-agers were wounded early Tuesday morning when they were shot in front of a Canoga Park apartment, Los Angeles police said.
James Bortado, 18, and Armando Aguilar, 14, both of Canoga Park, were standing outside an apartment building in the 7200 block of Variel Avenue about 12:20 a.m. when two youths riding in a blue Cadillac fired on them, Detective Rick Swanston said. Bortado suffered a bullet wound to the upper back and Armando was shot in the foot.
Both youths were expected to recover and no arrests have been made in the shooting, Swanston said.
