MISSION VIEJO : New City Hall Among Land Deals on Table
Three multimillion-dollar land deals are near completion and will be on the agenda for City Council approval next month.
“It’s going to be a busy meeting,” City Manager Dan Joseph said, when the council meets Aug. 28 after a summer hiatus.
Officials will be asked to approve:
* A partnership for building the Kaleidoscope entertainment mall off Crown Valley Parkway.
* The sale of an eight-acre parcel of city property at Los Altos Street to developer Mark Taylor Inc. for about $4 million.
* The purchase of 3.5 acres at La Paz Road and Marguerite Parkway for $2.8 million. The property would be merged with an adjacent city parcel as the site of a new library and city hall complex.
