SANTA PAULA : 28th Citrus Festival Scheduled at Park

Face painting, rides on steam trains and a parade are part of the 28th Santa Paula Citrus Festival scheduled this weekend.
The celebration will begin at 4 p.m. Friday with a carnival, bingo and food booths at Veterans Park at 10th and Ventura streets.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, a one-hour parade with a citrus theme will begin at 7th and Main streets. The parade will go east on Main and end at Main and 11th streets, officials said.
From 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, there will be a carnival, bingo, games and other outdoor events at the park. For information, call 933-5341.
