Harvey Entertainment Studies Potential Sale: The Santa Monica-based firm said it has hired Oppenheimer & Co. and Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder Inc. to advise it on a possible sale or merger of the company. Harvey Entertainment Co. said it received “more than one” offer just weeks after its “Casper” movie opened. The company did not disclose the source of the offers. In addition to owning the rights to Casper, the company develops animation and licensing alliances based on “Richie Rich,” “Wendy, the Good Little Witch” and other characters.
