When: Tuesday, 7 p.m.

What: The council will consider protests against charges for weed abatement. The city routinely surveys vacant lots to determine if overgrown weeds pose a fire hazard. If so, owners are notified and asked to clear the lots. If an owner fails to do so, the city clears the site and bills the owner, who has the right to protest the charge if he or she thinks it is too high.
