Elizabeth N. Luciani has joined Buenaventura Medical Clinic, based in Ventura, as contract manager and coordinator of relations with independent physician associations. She was formerly customer service manager and a provider relations representative with Foundation Health Plan in Oxnard.

* Cheryl A. Gooss has been named executive vice president of Action Personnel Inc., an Oxnard placement agency. She is a vice president of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and chairs several chamber committees.

* H. W. (Hank) Campbell, senior project manager at Essence Engineering in Ventura, has been named a vice president. Before joining Essence in September, he owned his own company in Garden Grove.

* Michael B. Boggs Jr. has been named director of optometry at Buenaventura Medical Clinic in Ventura. He formerly was in private practice in Ventura and has been a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

* Tony Trembley, a senior partner in the Oxnard-based law firm of Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce.
