TIMES POP MUSIC CRITIC
The idea here is to have some contemporary dance hotshots rework some of the Blondie hits from the ‘70s, including “Heart of Glass,” “Atomic” and “Call Me.” The goal was to try to get some extra commercial mileage out of an old pop catalogue, but all we end up with is inferior versions of the old hits. Producers Mike Chapman and Giorgio Moroder did it better the first time around.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good), four stars (e x cellent).
