Four Orange County Vietnamese American artists will contribute work to an exhibition of miniature boxes by 200 women from around the world. Suzie Vuong, Be Ky, Diem Pham and Lannie Cao will take part in “WOMEN/Beyond Borders,” opening Nov. 4 at the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum. The exhibit is slated to travel to 15 countries and is designed to document the diversity of worldwide participants’ artistic visions, create a dialogue among female artists, and “inspire all women to express their creativity,” says organizer Lorraine Serena, a Santa Barbara artist. Six Vietnamese artists living in Vietnam also will take part in the project.
