OXNARD : Model Ships to Be Shown at Museum
Nearly 40 model ships will be on display at the Ventura County Maritime Museum starting next month, officials said.
The annual event will feature handmade works by builders from throughout the Southland. Most of the modelers will be on hand during the first and last weekends of September.
The works will be on display Sept. 2 through Oct. 1 in the museum at Fisherman’s Wharf in Channel Islands Harbor, at the corner of Channel Islands Boulevard and Victoria Avenue.
Admission is free, but a donation is asked. Information: 984-6260.
