Sun Valley : Vandals Deface Classrooms, Kill Geese
A group of vandals trashed 10 classrooms at Sun Valley Middle School, causing $7,000 in damage and killing the school’s two pet geese, Los Angeles police said Thursday.
The vandals, who broke in during the weekend, splattered paint around the classrooms, leaving messages that threatened teachers by name, Detective Barbara Bella said. They also killed the geese that live in a pond on school grounds, she said. The damage was discovered Monday morning.
Los Angeles Unified School District police are investigating the incident.
