Disneyland Cuts Residents a Break

In a sure sign that autumn is coming, Disneyland announced Wednesday that it will start a new discount program for Southern California residents after Labor Day.

Starting Tuesday, visitors showing proof of residency in Southern California can buy as many as eight Disneyland admissions for $24 each. That compares to the regular price of $33 for adults and $25 for children 3 to 11. The deal lasts through Dec. 15.

Knott’s Berry Farm started a similar discount program earlier this month, reducing admission to $23 from $29 for adults living in Southern California, and cutting tickets for senior citizens and children to $17 from $19.
