Beautiful Laguna

* Having just returned from visiting California, I feel compelled to write you how much I enjoyed my visit to the beautiful community of Laguna Beach.
My last visit to Laguna was over 10 years ago, which has left a most vivid impression of what a beautiful place it is. I’ve been to many places in the world and very few can compare with the unusual beauty of the coast line, trees and fauna that Laguna Beach offers.
When the fires devastated much of the hills surrounding Laguna, I was naturally heartsick. I was glad to see that recovery was in progress, which brings me to my most important point.
Every resort or beach community has been overrun with developments consisting of obtrusive high rise condominiums and apartments, as well as unsightly strip malls. What makes Laguna Beach special is that this overbearing development has been kept to a minimum and is practically nonexistent. You obviously have a very strong planning board, which is keeping development in check.
Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to returning to Laguna Beach in the near future to enjoy what I consider to be a beautiful environment.
