OUTLOOK

The Eagles could be an interesting team to watch; they have put in place the same double-wing offense run by Division X champion Bloomington, the team that set the national scoring record last year with 880 points (62.9 per game). They will do it without one of their best offensive linemen; Chris Candlish (6-6, 230), a potential all-county player, quit so that he could concentrate on basketball. Gonzalez, Jahid, Dawkins and Flores will get the chance to run the ball in the explosive new offense, though Liebengood admits his team’s physical abilities probably won’t render quite as spectacular results.
