Associated Press

Rod Woodson is out for the season, so the Houston Oilers knew they would see a new cornerback in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ secondary Sunday.

Wrong. They’ll see two new corners.

With the Steelers opposing a strong, athletic receiver for the second week in a row, Coach Bill Cowher will bench 5-foot-9 Willie Williams and start former Redskin defensive back Alvoid Mays.

Mays, also 5-9, has more NFL experience than Williams, a third-year player who had played mostly in the dime defense until this season.
