NO TALKING: You can probably forget about a reunion of the Talking Heads--David Byrne just isn’t interested in reviving the band. But the other three members are working together again for the first time in years.

Billed simply as the Heads, bassist Tina Weymouth and drummer Chris Franz (who also anchored the Tom Tom Club together) have reteamed with guitarist-keyboardist Jerry Harrison to record with a variety of guest vocalists.

A preview track is on the soundtrack for the film “Virtuosity.” Titled “No Talking Just Head,” it features Deborah Harry as the singer. Other tracks have been recorded with Johnette Napolitano and INXS’s Michael Hutchence. Still, a Heads representative says that the project is in its embryonic stage.

Meanwhile, the Tom Tom Club is getting a new boost thanks to the prominent sampling of its old hit “Genius of Love” in Mariah Carey’s new single, “Fantasy.”
