Two men and a 15-year-old boy suspected of attacking a Palmdale family in their home and taking their money were booked Saturday for robbery, authorities said.

Gregory Mourland, 19, and Alex Nomaae, 24, were being held at the Los Angeles County sheriff’s Antelope Valley station in lieu of $80,000 bail, said Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Richard Dinsmoor.

The teen-ager, whose name was withheld because he is a minor, was being held at a juvenile detention center in Lancaster.

The robbery occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of East Avenue R-3 in Palmdale, Dinsmoor said. The robbers beat the victims--a man, his wife and their 15-year-old son--with a hammer and a stick before demanding they hand over their wallets and money, he said. The victims suffered bumps, bruises and cuts, but were not seriously injured.

Sheriff’s deputies later spotted the suspected getaway car at a nearby apartment complex in the 38300 block of 12th Street East. Deputies found one of the suspects in the car, along with a hammer and some identification belonging to one of the victims, Dinsmoor said.

They found the other two suspects during a search of the apartment complex, he said.
