CYBER-DEFENSE: The Simpson defense is computerized. Lawyer Robert Shapiro told Cal State Northridge computer students this week that the Dream Team has stored all trial testimony on a laptop. “Any time the judge needs to know how many times I’ve said ‘disingenuous,’ ” Shapiro said, he refers to the computer (B1).

It’s to the tune of Harry Belafonte’s “The Banana Boat.” Day-o, Day-o is the chorus, rhyming with Hideo. . . . The new version, produced by Joey Carbone of Sherman Oaks, comes out Monday. It features not only a dance mix but a rock mix and karaoke mix along with the traditional calypso.

Or the time comedian Paige Scurti quipped that Universal Studios was adding a new Valley attraction: “For half an hour, the tram stops dead and everybody gets their nails done.”
