Northridge : Breakfast Raises $7,000 for Police Division
A Valley community group raised more than $7,000 for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division at a pancake breakfast over the weekend, organizers announced Monday.
On Saturday, Supporters of Law Enforcement in Devonshire held their second annual breakfast at Northridge Park, serving 1,247 people at the three-hour event, said Jeanne Travers.
“Everyone seemed to have a good time,” she said.
According to Travers, funds raised at the breakfast will be used by the Devonshire Division’s senior lead officers for items such as photocopying, computer software and graffiti removal equipment.
