VENTURA : Fund-Raiser Planned for Boys & Girls Club

Strolling jugglers will mingle with the crowd expected to gather for gourmet food and wine Sunday at the third annual Garden Party to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Ventura’s teen programs.
About 25 area restaurants and 20 wineries will participate. There will also be a silent auction and music.
The event, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., will be at the Pierpont Inn, 550 San Jon Road. Tickets are $35 each. For information, call 641-5585. Child care is available with advance reservations.
The Boys & Girls Club’s programs include citizenship and leadership development and outdoor and environmental education.
