Obituaries : * June S. Breslin; Executive Secretary
Longtime Ventura County resident June S. Breslin has died. She was 68.
Breslin was born June 19, 1927, in Chicago. She attended Calumet High School in Chicago and Los Angeles City College. She was a resident of Somis for 18 years, where she worked as an executive secretary for Sunkist Growers. She also was a homemaker for her family and active in her community.
Breslin is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charles Breslin; stepdaughters Joy Steward of Lake View Terrace and Ruth Breslin of Berkeley; granddaughter Besse Leigh Breslin of Albuquerque, N. M.; brother Theodore Sedlack of Fresno, and sister Norma Ellis of Rancho Palos Verdes.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Conejo Mountain Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Camarillo. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to noon today, with services following.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Breslin’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
