Bill Buhler, 67, a trainer for the Dodger organization for 44 years and head trainer since 1960 and more than 7,200 games, announced his retirement. The Dodgers named Charlie Strasser, an assistant under Buhler for the past 11 seasons, head trainer, and Stan Johnson was elevated from minor league trainer to assistant trainer.
