Wandering Wanda
If Wanda Coleman wants to move out of the “insanity” of Hollywood to “our new quiet, Valley-close residential neighborhood,” that’s certainly her business. But she’s wrong when she gleefully concludes that “gone are the erratic episodes of window smashing . . . the tagger graffiti” and the long list of other horrors and annoyances from “junky muggers” to pizza and Thai food flyers.”
No, Wanda, they are not “gone.” What is gone is another well-educated, well-connected couple trying to outrun the collapse of our cities. The problems remain. They just get a little worse. But you won’t have to complain about them anymore.
