Colleges / Campus scene : CYPRESS : 2 Picked to Raise Money for College
Two new members have been appointed to the Cypress College Foundation Board of Directors, the community college’s fund-raising arm.
Joining the board are William E. Ross, vice president of public affairs for Disneyland, and Donald J. Bedard, retired vice president of student services at Cypress College.
Ross, of Diamond Bar, serves as a board member for several other organizations, including the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Foundation, CHOC Padrinos, Partnership 2010, Probation Community Action Assn. and Junior Achievement of Southern California.
Bedard, of Seal Beach, teaches part time at Cal State Long Beach and is vice president of the board of directors of the Casa Youth Shelter in Los Alamitos.
