L.A. Prosecutor Appointed Superior Court Judge
Gov. Pete Wilson on Wednesday appointed a veteran prosecutor in the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office to be a Superior Court judge.
Norman J. Shapiro, 52, of Beverly Hills, will replace Los Angeles Superior Court Judge John Zebrowski, who was appointed to the 2nd District Court of Appel.
Shapiro has been a deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County since 1970.
The annual salary of a Superior Court judge is $107,390.
