Santa Paula police and Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrested him after he went back in his home, left the shotgun there and walked outside again.

Police found gunshot damage to the mobile home next door and arrested Hernandez on suspicion of discharging a firearm into an inhabited dwelling.

No one was injured.

Police recovered about 20 spent shotgun shells, as well as the weapon.
