Thousand Oaks 40, Agoura 20--The Lancers rattled the Chargers (0-7, 0-4) on an offensive barrage with 484 yards total offense in a game at Agoura.

His team down 13-0 early in the second quarter, Thousand Oaks’ Brandon Jackson (185 yards and four touchdowns in 27 carries) scored on a six-yard run to cut the lead 13-7 for Thousand Oaks (6-1, 4-0) with the help of Eric Allen snagging a fumble at the Lancers two-yard line to run it in for a 13-13 tie.

The Chargers’ special teams answered back as Jason Gordon returned a punt 95-yard punt return for a 20-13 lead.

Jackson capped the Lancers’ halftime score at 27-20 with a 28- and a 42-yard touchdown runs. After a scoreless third quarter Jackson clinched the victory with an eight-yard touchdown run. Quarterback Scott McEwan, who completed 14 of 19 for 210 yards, hit Burrett Grindle with a 34-yard pass to put the game out of reach for Agoura.
