Agoura 27, Simi Valley 6-- Defensive back Donald West had two sacks and two fumble recoveries that resulted in 13 points and helped Agoura to its first victory.

West’s plays led to a pair of Adam Eyre field goals and also set up Jason Gordon for a one-yard touchdown run to lead the Chargers (1-7, 1-4) at Simi Valley.

Gordon rushed for 67 yards in 16 carries. Shayne Sobol had an 88-yard punt return for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter for the Chargers. Agoura’s Ryan McCann completed 11 of 20 passes for 129 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown to Jonnie Nekovar.

David Krewson connected with John Gonzalez on an 18-yard pass play for the only touchdown for Simi Valley (2-6, 1-4).
