Forum Scheduled to Gather Seniors’ Input

The Oxnard Commission on Aging and the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging will co-sponsor a forum for senior citizens at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The forum, which will take place at the Oxnard Community Center on Hobson Way, is designed to discern the priorities of Oxnard’s seniors community.
Every year, the county Agency on Aging is allocated funds from the California Department of Aging to meet the needs of seniors. The Oxnard Commission on Aging is a panel of citizens appointed to represent the city’s seniors.
Oxnard seniors are encouraged to take part in this opportunity to shape the way state money is spent in the county.
