SEAL BEACH : Automated Bank Teller Customer Escapes Armed Robber
An armed man approached a customer at a drive-through automatic bank teller in the Rossmoor Shopping Center early Monday and demanded money, but the intended victim escaped unharmed, police said.
The man is described as white, in his 20s, short-haired, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.
He was wearing a white T-shirt and was last seen running through the center parking lot, police said.
The man, armed with a handgun, approached and demanded money as the customer drove up to the Bank of America automated teller machine about 3:15 a.m. The customer drove off without giving up any cash, police said.
